My journey in the healthcare industry began after I graduated from Colorado State University. I pursued an MBA in Health Administration and a Master of Finance from the University of Colorado because I am passionate about healthcare. By doing so, I equipped myself with the knowledge and skills I needed to successfully navigate the intricate world of insurance.
I kicked off my professional trajectory at United Healthcare's corporate finance division, where I thrived in the role of financial analytics manager. This experience laid a solid foundation for my career and eventually led me to assume the position of CEO at an urgent care company. Through this role, I gained invaluable insights into the intricacies of healthcare delivery and administration.
However, it was a personal turning point that truly shaped my focus on assisting seniors in making informed decisions about their healthcare. Guiding my own elderly parents, who are 88 and 84 years old, through the complexities of Medicare opened my eyes to the dedicated support needed in this area. This personal experience ignited a deep commitment within me.
In 2016, I joined United Healthcare as an independent Medicare plan representative, leveraging my expertise to guide individuals through the intricacies of Medicare. As my passion for helping seniors grew, I decided to expand my reach and become a trusted broker at Bridlewood Insurance. This transition allowed me to offer clients a wider range of insurance carriers and Medicare plan options that catered to their unique needs and lifestyles.
My ultimate goal is to ensure that individuals entering their golden years have the knowledge and support necessary to make informed decisions about their healthcare coverage.
